We write to let you know that, to ensure the safety and well-being of members and guests alike, we have decided to cancel our Fall Meeting and Conference that had been scheduled for October 29, 2020, in Boston, MA.
Although we miss getting together as an organization and look forward to our return to our live conferences, it became very clear to us that there was no way in which we could safely hold a successful meeting this Fall. Our primary concern must, of course, be with the health and safety of our members and guests. Given the continued spiking of COVID around the country, there clearly remains a significant health risk associated with group gatherings, air travel and the like.
In lieu of the Fall Meeting, we will present a series of both live and on-demand remote continuing education and are working on a suitable and attractive alternative to the Members Meeting we would have otherwise held in Boston. Watch this space for more details.
Like everyone else these days, we will continue to monitor the situation closely and will certainly update as more becomes known or if there is any realistic chance for us to get together . In the meantime, please be careful out there. We owe it not only to ourselves and our families, firms and companies but to our communities to take all reasonable steps to contain the virus and mitigate its threats.
